How to Get Adsense Account Approved for Blogspot with Little Trick
Update: This trick doesn’t work, but you can always get an AdSense account by creating a valid website. Learn how this guy got his AdSense account in one month.

We all know that Adsense contextual ads are best-paying Ad program for Bloggers. Though, I have already shared my tutorial on: Create Adsense account but question remains the same:How to get Adsense account approval for BlogSpot bloggers, getting an AdSense approval is not that easy. Google AdSense have some strict account approval policies, and one of them is blog should be six months old. Though, it’s not always true, and if you have created a quality Website, you can get an approved AdSense account easily.
The major problem is for BlogSpot bloggers, for some reasons Google AdSense, doesn’t entertain BlogSpot bloggers. One of the most common reason BlogSpot bloggers get is Issue with page type. One easy way to get AdSense account with a BlogSpot blog is grabbed a custom domain, create a professional Email address and apply for AdSense account. This works, in 70% of cases. But, in case if you don’t have money to spend on a domain, here is a free trick which will get you an AdSense account approval with co.cc domain.
There is a simple trick which you can use to get your AdSense account approved for Blogspot domain quickly.
If your BlogSpot account have sufficient number of post (minimum 5+) then it’s easy to get your AdSense account approved. If you havepersonal domain and host chances of AdSense approval are very high.
Now the question is,
How to get Adsense account approval using Co.Cc Domain trick:
There are many web services which provide you free domain names and that will be very handy for you to get your Google AdSense account approved easily. One of the tricks which worked for me at the time of writing this post is: Using Co.cc domain for Adsense approval. Here I’m sharing my step by step guide for budding bloggers to get AdSense account:
Register yourself by going to .co.cc domain registration page. Select your free domain name, I will suggest using the same domain name which you have on Blogspot. This will help you to preserve your Blog brand name. In fact, whenever you plan to migrate to WordPress, make sure you buy the domain name with your current BlogSpot or co.cc domain name.
Suppose if you have domain name as virgintech.blogspot.com then search for the availability of virgintech.co.cc.
Activate your account and login to your .co.cc account and click on Set up>> manage domain
Select Zone record and in the host column enter your .co.cc domain name :shoutmeloud.co.cc
Now select CNAME for Type and enter ghs.google.com on the value field.
By now you have done setting up your co.cc domain, and it’s time now to set up your Blogspot blog for the same.
How to redirect your blogspot blog to custom domain?
Login to your blogspot account, under settings>publishing, select Switch to custom domain
- Now enter your co.cc domain name in the field and click on save.
- It will take one to two days to take settings in effect.
- As soon as your blog is redirected .co.cc domain , apply for adsense again.
- Some time Google AdSense reject the application, don’t worry about it. Resubmit the application from the link mentioned in the rejection email.
How to Apply to Google Adsense and Actually Get Approved
I first applied to Google Adsense back in 2005 or 2006. Since that time, I have applied and gotten approved many times for related business entities or helping others set up their own Google Adsense accounts. Each time, my applications have been approved to start using the Google Adsense program, so I feel like I can offer some solid advice on how to make sure you get your own approved account.
Now, if you have been following my blog, you know that I had a bit of a set back with Google Adsense, but I am now actively using Google Adsense as though nothing happened. The reality is that Google Adsense is the best contextual marketing program on the market with the most advertisers and the highest payouts. I love the Adsense program and definitely recommend those involved with niche websites to at least get started with Adsense.
Doesn’t Everyone Get Approved?
To be honest, its shocking to hear how many people get declined from Google Adsense when they apply. I’ve received many emails from readers saying that their applications were declined. I’ve read complaints on forums or comments about the difficulty of getting approved with Google.
I personally have never experienced this. But I’ve also been very careful when I apply. Below you will find the process I have used to apply and get approved to Google Adsense.
Steps to Getting Approved
In a nutshell, there are 5 steps to applying and getting approved to the Adsense affiliate program.
1. Create a Valuable and Good Looking Site
Google wants to know that you have an valuable resource! So, in order to increase your chances of approval, you need to create original, articulate, and useful content! This should go without saying for any website; however, I can guarantee you that people have applied to Google Adsense with autoblogs, or copied articles from EzineArticles.com. Then they wonder why they didn’t get approved.
My advice is to have at least 10 well-written articles of 500 words or more each on your site before applying. In addition, I would have a great “About Page”, “Contact” page, and a “Privacy Policy” page. The privacy policy needs to include this information supplied by Google here. You can find a free privacy policy generator that I have used right here.
In addition, you are more likely to get approved if you have a great looking theme or site. I recommend using a premium theme (if using WordPress) if possible. You can still use a free theme, but do your best to find one that looks high quality.
Finally, to give your site an extra boost on the “look” score, I recommend having a logo designed. You can do it yourself, or you can hire someone on Fiverr.com if you are cheap (like me). For $5 you can take a generic theme and make it look much nicer with a custom logo.
Overall, make sure that your site is fully developed with content, logo, layout changes BEFORE you submit the site to Google.
Quick Tip! Remember, you CANNOT apply to Google Adsense using a site that has ever been used for Google Adsense before.
2. Apply Online
You can apply online to Google Adsense right here. Here you will supply your website URL,Individual name or Business Entity, contact name (you if applying for yourself; could be someone different if you are applying as a business entity), mailing address, phone number,email address, and perhaps one other basic bit of information. You are not required to submit your TIN or bank account information at this stage yet. This will happen after you get approved.
Make sure to give accurate phone and physical address information. You will be REQUIRED to verify your phone number and they will mail you a PIN to the address you supplied. However, this does not occur until step 4.
The online application itself only take a few minutes to fill out.
3. Get Temporarily Approved and Place Ads
Approval usually occurs within 24 to 48 hours now. If you follow my steps above for creating a unique site that has never been involved with Google Adsense before, you should have no issues getting approved quickly.
At that point, you will receive an approval email from Google that explains the process. Essentially you are “temporarily” approved until you meet other verification steps.
This means you can start placing ads on your site and you will see the clicks and revenue coming into your account. Google is simply monitoring your activity to make sure you are not clicking your own ads or sending suspicious traffic. As long as you leave your ads alone and don’t do anything suspicious – you should be fine.
In addition, you can also add the Google Adsense code to ANY of your other websites! You don’t have to apply for each new site. Once you have any approved account, you can use the same Adsense code on all your sites.
4. Getting Verified: Pin Verification, Bank Account and Tax Information, Phone Number
However, before you get paid, you need to verify a few things. First, Google will send you a PIN verification in the mail. This will come after a week to 10 days usually.
There is no rush, but at some point you will need to verify your bank account and submit your tax information. The bank account must be in the same name that you applied with. (So, if you applied with your business entity, the bank account must be for the business entity).
To get paid by ACH (the best way), you need to supply your bank account number and routing number. Then Google will do a test deposit of a few cents. You will then input this amount in your Google Adsense account to finish the verification. Then you can start getting paid monthly!
You will also need to supply your TIN number and complete the necessary tax documents (this is all handled online by Google and only takes a couple of minutes).
If you haven’t previously verified your phone number, you will need to do so. Google will place a test call with an automated code to you. Input the code, and you are good to go!
5. Be Smart with Your Ads
Finally, be smart about how you handle your Adsense code. Only put it on sites that meet theGoogle Adsense guidelines here. Don’t click your own ads and NEVER ask anyone else to ever click your own ads! This will get your account shut down.
Overall, stay in compliance with Google and enjoy the deposits coming to your account each month.
In Conclusion
These are the exact steps that I have used many times to get myself, my business entities, or the accounts of others approved to Google Adsense. On the surface, they are fairly straightforward; but trust me, lots of people never get approved.
This could be for a number of reasons ranging from low quality content, to suspicious activity. But if you follow the 5 steps that I’ve outlined here, you should get approved without any issues.

Freelance Writing: 10 Tips to Better Interviews
When I became a full-time freelancer more than a decade ago, it wasn’t long before I realized that many of the tactics I found most effective in drawing out interviewees were not unlike those a counselor had used with me during a stint in talk therapy. Curious, I did a little experimentation and soon learned that psychoanalytic methods can, in fact, improve the way we approach the interviewing process—and can help our sources come to life and really open up, too. With that in mind, here are 10 ways thinking like a therapist can lead to both better interviews and better stories.
#1 Keeping accurate records:
Many patients take comfort in the fact that their therapists take copious notes during sessions and refer to them throughout the course of therapy. But not all writers grant their subjects the same courtesy. Dr. David D. Burns, author of The Feeling Good Handbook and other books, says he has been misquoted so many times he’s become reluctant to grant interviews. “I’ve been interviewed for hundreds of magazine articles, and they come out incredibly goofy about 90 percent of the time,” he says. Burns encourages all writers to record their interviews. Laws vary by state, but let your subjects know you’re recording the conversation—doing so will protect both them and you should any questions arise later.
#2 Putting the client at ease:
First-time therapy clients—and interviewees—tend to be a bit nervous before their initial sessions. But calming their fears can be as easy as asking them a few innocuous questions first, says Barton Goldsmith, a California psychoanalyst and author. “Everyone loves to talk about themselves,” he notes. “The No. 1 way to draw people out is to give them room to do that.”
#3 Sharing:
Another way to defuse tension is to reveal something about yourself—“something perhaps a little self-deprecating,” Goldsmith says. “I like to say that I began my career in psychology after my professional basketball career was cut short when I grew to only five-foot-six. If you give someone permission to laugh, you also give them permission to open up in other areas. So if you really want depth, get them comfortable.”
#4 Actively listening:
In both phone interviews and face-to-face chats, avoid the temptation to half-listen and think ahead to what you’re going to ask next. Instead, pay close attention. “It’s probably the most important thing,” Goldsmith says. When responding, paraphrasing what your source just said in slightly different language shows that you’re listening and understand what was shared. Ask follow-up questions when appropriate. “It’s called consolidating the game,” Goldsmith says. “People open up more to you when they know you’re really listening—and it’s also a good way to make sure you have all your facts straight.”
#5 Allowing a few seconds of silence:
At times, an interviewee may not have fully processed a thought until it comes out during the interview. Immediately jumping ahead to the next question might deprive both you and the subject of a deeper insight into the topic. “You have to give people space,” Goldsmith says. “It takes some time to go from your head to your heart, and you want to give your client that time to feel.”
#6 Showing genuine interest:
If you’re talking to a subject about pork-belly futures, it can be difficult to get invested in the interview. But even the most mundane topics usually contain some grain of interest. If you can find it, the interviewee will sense that and feel like more of a partner in the process. “If you’re not really interested, that’s going to come across to the other person,” says Allan Bloom, a psychotherapist in Raleigh, N.C. “Almost anything is interesting when you really get into it.”
#7 Banishing assumptions:
Assuming you know all the facts of a story ahead of an interview can backfire in a major way. Therapists are taught to refrain from jumping to conclusions for good reason, Bloom says. It’s best to check your assumptions about a piece at the door and give your interviewee time to let the story unfold naturally. To that end, never prewrite too much of a story in your head before you do your interviews.
#8 AVOIDING judgments:
It’s not always easy to remain neutral, especially if the person you’re talking to has done something particularly odious. But if you allow a judgmental attitude to creep in, your interview can end abruptly. “If a client reveals something objectionable, I just say, ‘Tell me more,’” Goldsmith says. “You’re asking them how they felt, not telling them how you feel about it.”
#9 Conveying empathy:
We can’t know what’s going on in other people’s minds, but when interviewing someone who has undergone a discouraging or traumatic event, using words that convey an empathetic understanding of those feelings can go a long way toward your goal of information gathering (e.g., “That must have been very upsetting” or “That certainly sounds frustrating”). Goldsmith advises sharing a similar experience, if you’ve had one, to let the person know you really empathize with the situation. It should be noted that empathy must be genuine; people quickly see through insincerity.
#10 Neutralizing an angry or critical person:
It doesn’t happen often, but eventually you’ll probably have to contend with an interviewee who’s out of sorts for one reason or another. Burns has developed a method called the “disarming technique,” which involves finding a grain of truth in the person’s argument as a way of deflecting the attack. He suggests changing the focus by acknowledging the negative emotions, and perhaps asking the person tactful questions about the reason for the attack.
As writers, we’re charged to be apt pupils of human nature—and as humans, we’re all subject to it. So it only makes sense that using psychoanalytic techniques can produce much richer interviews to inform our work. Of course, there’s one final perk for our “clients,” too—our sessions are way more affordable.
